Push, and clamp teeth
together; yearn to extend.
Feel and revel in hollow-eyed, back-arching vigour.
Stretch.
Capacity lengthens
and tightens,
loosens and flows;
with pain etched
of peppered beat,
and success
of whispered gasp.
